Just as Order.co gives you one catalog and cart for all your vendors, the Orders page is your centralized hub for managing all of your orders. Here you can get tracking, submit returns, and reorder products.
How does Order.co handle order tracking?
Order.co makes it easy to track individual packages and products by working closely with vendors and carriers. By leveraging our Vendor APIs and Order.co AI, tracking numbers are uploaded within moments of receiving them. If a vendor is set to receive PO emails, the vendor representative is given an easy-to-use input form for sharing tracking. Order.co also contacts vendors that have not yet provided tracking to request shipping updates.
Order.co monitors tracking updates to identify when orders encounter delivery issues and proactively reach out to Carriers and Vendors to request assistance. Issues that could have caused weeks of delays for your business are now handled within moments of learning there is a delivery exception.
Reviewing Tracking for your Purchases
1. To view tracking, navigate to Orders.
2. Use the My Orders table to find your order, or use the search bar. Click the order number to open the order details page.
3. Products are grouped by vendor and associated tracking number. If a large quantity of products is split across packages, Order.co will show the quantity associated with each tracking number. If the vendor does not provide that level of detail, Order.co will show "Partial Quantity" for each tracking number associated with those products.
Here's an example showing a product fulfilled at Amazon, with vendor-estimated delivery and a courier tracking link:
Click View Tracking History to see point-by-point tracking if available. Tracking is updated automatically in real-time as couriers and vendors post new information about your package.
Click See more tracking info to be directed to a tracking detail page. You can even subscribe to email updates for your package from this page!
Tracking Digest Email
If you order supplies regularly, you might be placing 10 orders across 10 different online vendors. That could mean 10 order confirmation emails, 10 emails with updates on tracking, and then you have to sort and share that information internally to your team.
Thanks to Order.co, you'll receive two emails a day with up-to-date tracking insights, broken out by location and users. Users placing orders can quickly review the tracking statuses for all en route packages with updates grouped in a clear, location-based format. Whether you’re managing dozens of locations or keeping tabs on individual orders, you’ll see the latest shipment statuses, exceptions, and delivery updates without logging in!
The tracking digest is sent twice a day an only includes tracking information with recent updates. If you have access to more than one location, you will receive one digest per location.
If you are not the ordering user, your user role must have the Show all location orders user permission to receive a tracking digest email.
What if my order doesn't have tracking available?
Some vendors do not provide tracking information. These vendors will show the following message when an ETA has been provided:
If the vendor does not provide an estimated delivery date, Order.co AI estimates when your package will be delivered, based on historical delivery information for each vendor.
How can I ensure tracking is available on my purchases?
- To have Order add tracking from your linked vendor accounts, please forward tracking emails to Tracking@Order.co. An email forwarding rule will make this automatic!
- For vendors who are not providing tracking info consistently, please reach out to them—and feel free to copy support@order.co and/or your Customer Success Manager—asking if there are ways to more reliably obtain tracking info to be included with all your other vendors' tracking info in Order
What Should I Do If I Need Assistance?
